Certification
ShieldNet certification comes in two kinds. Organizations certify at three levels, from a free self-assessment to independent assessment. Individuals certify by exam, starting with the free Core Certificate. Choose the path that fits you, each one has its own page with the full details.

For your organization
Start with a free Starter self-assessment, then move up to Verified and Assured, assessed by an Authorized Assessment Body.
For individuals
Earn a personal certificate by exam, starting with the free Core Certificate, then Implementor and Auditor. Based on the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework.
Independent decisions, public results
Certification decisions are made only by the Certification and Impartiality Committee of Fundacja ShieldNet. Its members represent SMEs, employers, certified professionals and academia, and none of them may work for a ShieldNet partner. The founder, the management board and partners have no say over the outcome. Certification does not depend on training, membership or any other relationship with the foundation. Valid certificates are listed in a public register, and every decision can be appealed. The rules are set out in Annex C, the Certification Schema.
ShieldNet certification is not an official EU certification and does not imply endorsement by the European Union or any public body.
